Shriners International supports Shriner Hospitals for Children, a health system of 22 hospitals dedicated to providing pediatric medical care, world-class research and educational opportunities for medical professionals.
Shriners International is a fraternity based on fun, fellowship and the Masonic principles of brotherly love, relief and truth. With approximately 325,000 members in 194 temples (chapters) in the United States, Canada, Germany, Mexico, the Philippines, Puerto Rico and the Republic of Panama our fraternity is open to men of integrity from all walks of life.
Sudan Temple was established in 1916 in New Bern, North Carolina and serves eastern North Carolina. The Shrine Center was built in 1951 and serves as the headquarters for the Sudan Temple. Its mission is also to support the Shriner Children’s Hospitals.
The Hope Mills Shrine Club is one of 40 Shrine clubs throughout eastern North Carolina that have fun and raise money through various activities and contributions to support the Shriner Children’s Hospitals.
